Who cares what sport claims to be the best past time, each has it's moments for me in my heart.

Baseball - On Sept. 6, 1995, Ripken played his 2,131st consecutive game, smashing through Lou Gehrig's record for reliability. I remember screaming and dancing around the TV. Us grown men were crying as he trotted around the field thanking the fans with his victory lap.

Football - Tony Romo mishandles the snap and Dallas cannot kick the field goal which would have won them the game. instead, my Seahawks miracously move on and lose a nail biter in Chicago as the Bears win in overtime by kicking a 50 yard field goal.

Hockey - The Miracle on Ice. Captain Mike Eruzione scores the USA's 4th goal late in the third period and goalie Jim Craig holds tough with 39 saves. Team USA holds on to this thin lead and beat the unbeatable Team USSR! The nation roared as one that day. It showed how a simple sport could unite an entire nation and showed the politicians that disputes could be handled on the ice.

Basketball - Well, the Magic vs Bird collection of memories is too large to contain. This was undoubtedly the best rivalry in basketball history. So, I will start with the game that started the rivalry. The 1979 NCAA championship game. It was Magic and his Michigan State Spartans vs Larry Bird and his Indiana State Sycamore's. This could have been the greatest college game ever. It definitely put the madness in the modern day March Madness tournament. Magic went on to win the game and the MVP of the series. These two would play against each other in 3 NBA championship games with my man Magic getting the edge 2 championships to 1.

Nascar - February 18, 2001. A day that will live in sports infamy. Dale "The Intimidator" Earnhardt crashed into the wall during the last lap of the Daytona 500 and died from his injuries. He went way to young, but went doing what he loved.

So, I think my point is that all sports have great past times. One might make more revenue from ads or TV sponsorship, but who cares. For me the list goes on and on. I could mention Tiger and Golf or Sampras in Tennis. I love sports and the memories thet brought me.

Because those people have the size and weight of HW boxers. About MMA it is a different sport. Generally American HW is weak because of the many impersonations of old time greats wit-out the dedication and training that the old timers had; Look American HW are shown Mike Tyson and are expected to do the same wit-out Mike Tyons dedication or training, so these people loose early and not reach the top. Plus about 20 years ago boxing was an easy way out now boxing is hard way. And please drop the racism issue I am sick and tired of it. P.S. Generally all people have of way to make themselves look good by showing weaknesses of others. You and others are no exceptions.

Baseball is americas favorite passtime because it is played out during the summer your team plays 5-6 games a week which means any night you are looking for something to watch they are there but football is more popular because there are only 16 games once a week in the fall and winter so the anticipation builds up all week for the game.

Fall/Winter-Pro and CollegeFootball- the greatest sport ever, without a doubt.
Winter/Spring- Baketball- I used to play and lemme tell you that playing basketball is way more fun then watching...even though I hardly ever played because i suck...but it was fun, and we all get obsessed with our brackets around this time
Spring/Summer-Baseball is only popular now, because there is literally NOTHING else going on.
Summer/Fall- High School Football. One of the most entertaining forms of football, you don't have to think about overpaid crybaby ******* or media overexposure, just plain, simple, hard-hitting, helmet splitting, teeth gritting football.

Tradition says baseball...but the reality of the business side of professional sports and fan support (along with past strikes and steriod scandals in baseball) says America's favorite sport is football...

Football. Mainly cause games only only happens on Sunday and there is only 16 games in a season. Of course not counting the play-offs. The games are more like an event.
