You have a "sea turtle"? Most species of sea turtle are protected, so keeping it, if it is one, is more than likely a violation of federal and/or state laws where you are. I recommend getting in touch with your local wildlife office or a turtle rescue/rehabilitator to surrender the animal to people who can care for it properly before you kill it and end up charged with harming protected wildlife. Any type of sea turtle should not be kept by a novice.
I'm actually shocked at both the idiocy and the "McAnswers" given here. There is far too little background information on this animal for anyone to give an answer such as "he needs a friend" or a "toy". He might in fact have a health problem from being cared for improperly. All the more reason to get it into qualified hands. Sorry, but those are the facts if you really care for it's life more than you do your own entertainment.

All species of sea turtle are either on the endangered species list or critical list and as such are illegal to own not to mention immoral. You really should contact a turtle rescue group in the area in which you found the little guy so he can be safely released back into the wild where he came from. Another thought is that sea turltes grow big....REALLY big so you would eventually have to release him or pass him on to a turtle rescue anyway since they don't make a tank big enough to house a sea turtle unless you have one specially built liek a public aquarium. More then that though is a moral obligation to the species. Sea Turtles are diminishing rapidly in numbers and a baby sea turtles chances of survival is very slim due to predators and as such we have to take every opportunity to help preserve these beautiful animals. By you having one in a tank, he will not grow to full size, or mate which would help to increase the numbers of his species so in effect you are helping to decrease the numbers instead of increasing them.
Not to mention the fact that your turtle looks bored because he should be in the wide blue ocean instead of a little tank.
Please, I hope you will think about it and do what is right and contact a turtle rescue so they can release this baby into the wild where it can possibly gorw and thrive and make more turtles.

I highly doubt that you have a "sea turtle". If you do, you are violating federal law! These creatures are endangered, and there are scientist devoting their entire lives to conserving them. You should definitely release it where you found it if it is a sea turtle. Now, if it isn't a sea turtle, and you bought it at a pet store it is probably a slider, red-eared, yellow bellied and the like. Don't give him toys because he won't use them. Give him aquatic plants, logs etc. to "explore" . Throw in some feeder fish for him to pursue, and be sure to keep a heat lamp over him during the day, as well as a UVB/UVA flourescent.
I don't mean to come across as rude, I just really hope it isn't a true sea turtle. Check out these links

If you actually have a sea turtle then you need to set it free or give it to a marine animal rescue they are endangered and are illegal to own. Plus sea turtle when full grown are huge a I doubt you would have the proper room. Are you sure it a sea turtle and not just a type of water turtle?

If he's swimming and eating that means he's healthy. Animals outside of Animalia Chordata Mammalia generally are less evolved and won't have the same standards of fun. Just because you think something is fun doesn't mean your pet will, and being healthy is probably all that your turtle wants. If you have the resources, buying him a companion turtle might be a good idea.

It is natural for sea turtles to eat and swim... So extra nice food and exciting places to swim.... Like the ocean? Or of course an enormous tank he can explore and find new things in regularly.. keep his mind alive... I still believe a trutle should not be kept as a pet but that remains your choice of course...

How thoughtful. How 'bout some small floater type ' toy ' for him to push around when he comes up to it ? It might ' task ' and stimulate his mind as he needs to push it out of the way...yet the floater toy would not be too bothersome. Maybe a ring or some sort that is tethered to a weight at the bottom of the tank to hold the ring / circle in place. The turtle can swim through it. And..how 'bout some real or fake seaweed of some sort for him to swim through or hide in.

You sound like a good person,.. wanting your sea turtle to "have fun" and all, but imagine his life otherwise,.. out in the middle of the damned ocean,.. swimming, eating,.. not doing much for fun,.. 'lots like his situation at your place. I'd guess that it would be best to give him as much space as possible, (while watching the salinity level).

We have a rock in our tank so ours can get out of the water. We also put a couple of goldfish in the tank so it can chase the fish. Every once in a while it catches one and eats it. We just go buy more.
