Why do Christians go after Jews and Muslims but not after Buddhists?

because you dont see buddhists in the headlines everyday killing people. well i havent heard of any religious discrimination from any of my friends or family sooo....
anyways, i dont care what religion you are, if you try and kill me im gonna defend myself.

i did hear of a something that happened...a school bus driver was wearing a santa hat while working. then the school got a complaint from one of the kids parents that said he was offended by it and demanded that the driver take it off. so i think the school fired him or something i forget but my question is WHO CARES?!? and if christians cant wear santa hats then why can indians wear turbans or jews wear a kippah or muslims wear a burka? if anything this is discriminating to christians! and what was up with the president saying happy holidays instead of merry christmas.

personally i think its the muslims that are MAKING themselves the victims and saying we are committing a religous crusade against them. i fought in iraq and i had iraqis come up to me claiming they were christians and showing me crucifixes. guess what? i didnt care! in fact one of the guys in my platoon was arab and i didnt care!

has everyone forgotten about the ethnic cleansing against muslims in kosovo? while the european union and the united nations stood by and watched, hundreds of thousands of muslims were executed. it wasnt until the USA and NATO started bombing the serbs did they stop.

i am not a hardcore christian by the way. i havent gone to church in 4 years. sorry God.

I'm a Christian, and I do not "go after" Jews. Christians get the root of their beliefs in Judaism, and are the biggest supporters of Jews and of Israel. So I don't know where you're getting this information.

As for the Muslims, they consider Christians "infidels", and their Qu'ran instructs Muslims to kill infidels. That is why there is conflict. I don't remember a Buddhist flying aircraft into the WTC and killing 3000 people. So there is a definite difference.

Assuming you are speaking in historical reference, then the rest of the answerers need to study a little more history, Christians most certainly did persecute Jews( pogroms and various laws as to land ownership, the Inquisition) and Muslims( the Crusades and the suppression of the Ottoman Empire), for all the usual reasons, they wanted power and wealth and influence, and they shared the same geography, within the same time frame.
Buddhists were in a different area, at a later time and so they escaped the worst of it, only to be 'missionized' later on.

Cause Jews, Muslims, and Christians all come form the same religious foundation. They are all monotheistic religions with the same characters in their teachings. Buddhism is more of a philosophy. Buddhism has nothing to do with the other religions. They're like the Confucists or the Taoists.

I too have no problem at all with Jews...maybe because they are not loading airliners full of people with hijackers and flying them into tall buildings full of more people?
