i say men wouldnt have any problem carrying a child for nine months, men can take on big beasts while hunting and women cry about a spider being to close to them, guys can handle getting a leg amputated during war, women cry over a broken nail, so i say put an end to the whole saying "guys could never handle being pregnant" they only say it because they know the roles would never be switched. and that america is what really grinds my gears.

Not all women say 'if only men knew what its like to be pregnant' ...Im sure after wards they dont even mind the pregnancy when they get there little bundle of joy... And not all wonen jump at the sight of a spider or cry when they break a nail.. Every one has weaknesses even men.. So dont judge people like that.. Mens weaknesses are things that are really needed in this world like although though some men can (most dont) cook or clean because they dont know how and women being scared of a spider doesnt affect the world... Both sexes are equal with strengths and weaknesses and where women are weak men are strong and vice verser so dont turn it into a battle of the sexes.. Why cant we all just work together??

Derovius has given the best answer. There are people who claim others couldn't handle this or that, yet the claims are senseless. There are women who love(d) being pregnant. So, are we to say men would love being pregnant too? Nah. And, there are women who never have children. Are they any less of a woman for it? Nope. Personally, I think people who say "you can't handle it" are very negative. But, this talk about pregnancy is just gibberish from women - a brief moment to vent about how they feel or felt during pregnancy. It's kind of as senseless as saying "a woman couldn't handle being a man". Why would you want to?

We say it so men will be more empathetic. Pregnancy feels like there is a load of brick in your abdomen that are moving around. You vomit a lot and are ravaged by hormones. Your body aches and there is stress on every system in your body. Labor is scary and painful and can go on for 24 hours. After the birth ordeal, sometimes a c section, they hand you an infant and want you to breastfeed it. Never mind you haven't drank water in 36 hours and you are totally dehydrated. You don't have to slay a mastodon for food, but we ladies still go through the same process of pregnancy since the dawn of man. I can reverse roles with a guy anytime. I was in the Army and worked in a law enforcement capacity so I have seen it from both sides. Right now I don't have the use of an arm and I have 3 busted ribs, but I still have to care for a child and there is no man around to hand me a nail file. I know lots of women in this situation and they get through it without one complaining word.

This is not a blog you are supposed to ASK a question which you did not, but I guess since you THINK you could handle having a baby I wont report you, this time. Good Luck with that complex!

Females entire system is stronger Nick...

Carrying a baby is exactly: a himan inside you that's keebs on kicking you vertebral column.. Imagine that someone kicked your spine from the outside, not the inside flesh, and imagine tha pain.

Women are very strong against pain, but their reactions are very strong too.

Its a sensation that we cannot biologically understand, just like they don't understand the mindnumbing pain of impact injuries to the groin, or having to deal with spontaneous erections from year 15 to 65.

Best not to compare or minimalize someone elses pain.

I don't think being pregnant would be a problem. The actual birth would be.
