The game could go to 5, 10, 20, or 40 in any case there would only be one winner and that person is the one and only Kobe Bryant. Kobe is the best and most talented basketball player in the NBA. He has the rare ability to take his game to the next level anytime that he feels that he has to. He also knows how to step up to the plate in crutch situations. Not to put LeBron down he is a good player but plain and simple Kobe would simply wipe the floor with him.

I would take Kobe. Kobe is a defensively solid player and he is also an offensive machine. He can shoot from beyond the arc(which LeBron cannot do,) shoot from midrange, dunk it home, or go for the easy lay-up. Kobe has more experience than James and I think he can outwork James fundamentally.
LeBron is a great player. He can do it all, too. He is just less experienced than Kobe. Kobe is still at the peak of his powers and has dealt with every kind of defender. James has not experienced everything that he's supposed to experience yet. Kobe has seen it all and done it all. He has improved as a player this season. On the other hand, James's stats are all down this season.
I say Kobe wins it by the score of 40-33.

1. Hes more athletic 2. Plays with intensity day in and day out 3. Has such progress and developing so fast, and hes 24. 4. James still has room for improvement, after 12 years, this is all we will get of kobe 5. Better efficiency rating, hes a more well rounded player 6. Statwise. lebron is better in fg %, ppg, apg, rpg. 7. kobe ball hogs. lebron does not 8. the offence flows to kobe. the offence flows from lebron. 9. lebrons team is doing more with less... we dont have a pau gasol. most of our guys arent scorers. they are just avg players.

I would say LeBron simply because of the post-up factor. He's much bigger than Kobe and could probably take him on the block, though Kobe would put out a helluva effort.
But, if fouls are called and they shoot free throws for whatever reason, Kobe all the way.

Kobe , of course.
Not only can Kobe score on every possible angle, he can also play good defense.
Kobe can surely get his shots over LeBron.
But with Kobe guarding him, I doubt if LeBron can score a as much.
So make mine Kobe.

I think Kobe plays tighter d, and can make shots while covered.
Lebron does have a couple inches on him, which could make it interesting, but i think Kobe has a better shot, if he needs to use it.
40 points is a lot and i think Kobe has a tad more endurance.
So i'm taking Kobe here, but it would be nice to see...

LbJ would dominate Kobe by the end of the game he don't have the strength to bang W / Lbj for a whole game plus Lb would be able to shoot over top of Kobe

Kobe, because he could make a shot while he's upside down in the air. No matter how good defense is on him he will make the basket as long as he gets a glimpse of where it's at.
