if you haven't already made the mistake of letting your friend that you are in love with them. because unless you are going to be with this friend for ever you will lose this person as a true friend. it would never be the same again.

Explain your feelings to your bestfriend. They should definitely understand and if they don't feel the same way, don't get down in the dumps. Realize that your friendship is the most important thing and you shouldn't ruin it. Falling in love is a crucial thing...but you can't force it. If they happen to feel the same way about you, more props to you. But first, communicating is key.

be open & honest and tell your friend how you feel. If the feeling isn't mutual, deal with it. The goal is to remain friends, don't lose the love of your life and your best friend.
