My friend received a job offer from a recruitment company said to be based in London. Later, he received an email from that recruitment company containing an attchment described as Appointment Letter from PetroChina Netherlands. He was advised to forward that appointment letter to a certain email address of a mentioned person in the email. The recruitment company said that this person is their consultant for immigration in the Netherlands. While this seems to be a good offer, I said to my friend that this may be a hoax. Can someone help us clear this doubt? Did anyone of you get like this job offer? We thank so much...

I don't know anything about PetroChina hiring directly from the Netherlands. I don't even know if they have an office there. However, Jacobs Engineering, with its head office in Leiden, Netherlands, does hire people from time to time as a contractor to PetroChina. Maybe they can tell you more (www.jacobs.com).
