I would think about what story you feel needs to be told. Is there a familiar stroy perhaps from a perspective we haven't heard of before? Think about what kind of shows you enjoy seeing. What makes them work? What does the world need to hear that it hasn't heard before? I'd draw inspiration from work that inspires you.

Well, pick a story that intersts you or is a popular topic. Do you want to write a comedy, drama, love story, or a mix of all of them...maybe even a mystery. Next, figure out your plot line and pick characters to act out your story. Think about what you want to say and then use your own experiences with people to create a dialogue..voila! All that's left is to put it on paper. Good luck!

Ideas should come from within you rather than other people. Think about the things that love and hate, things in the world that you wish to change. Consider the people in your life, the positive and negative. Draw from your life experience. From all of that a good plotline will emerge.
