it depends on your knowledge
1. if you have enough knowledge in options you can observe which company can do poor over this horizon(60days) and buy put option, calculate expected future price for this asset and determine expected return(don't forget to subtract option´´s premium paid), finance this purchase buy shortening call option, assuming that the price for the cal and put options is the same you have cash outflow=0(or make the same thing but in the opposite direction)
2. if you have enough knowledge in credit default swap you can short this option for instance for the GM company if you confident that it wont fill in bankruptcy during you investment horizon you will win
3. and lastly you can buy T-bill for 28days , after 28days you can make the reverse repo for the rest 32days
I didn't mention any other options to invest like caps, floors, spread options because i don't think that for the next 60 days there would be any substantial changes in the market which would be profitable

To get any high returns, the money has to be invested in any market where there is LEVERAGE. Secondly, it has to be in the right hands who know what they are doing. Thirdly, try and leave the money atleast for 3 or more months.
If you are investing money in speculative markets, it only means that the high returns come with high risk.

When you say invest, try and look for a longer term of duration. 2 months is too short for any real capital appreciation and the only way you can make a lot of money in this is to enter a market where it can be daytraded.
I work in the Forex Markets, let me know if you want to invest. But only if you are serious.
