I've never bought a pre-paid phone card before, and i want to call to Egypt, but i need suggestions on What's a good and CHEAP phone card to use to call to Egypt, from USA, and Where can i buy these pre-paid phone cards, and also names of the brand please.
I will be using my cell phone and my home phone, when using my pre-paid phone card.
If you've had any experience with good and cheap phone cards, please let me know, thank you.

Honey we are really happy to help you here but I think posting this question on the US area (in the category of the state you are living in) would help a lot more than here.
Good luck

I used to buy a phone card from Kwik Trip (gas station). I cant remember the exact rates. I did figure out though it depends on the time of the year on what the rate is....so it went up and down for me. Try going through you phone company . Right now i am set up for Egypt , and i think its like 30 cents a minute. Could be better where you are from. Just ask them what the rates are and tell them you plan to call often. I think they have a package for that.
Hope i helped.
Oh, also phone cards arent so great. Sometimes any little clicking sound and it would start charging me....even if the phone never rang. Sometimes the phones are messed up there. Its easier getting through though without a phone card.

At Costco or Sam's Club you can pick up a prepaid MCI card. They're orange and blue, and cost about $20. I believe it says "good for 200 domestic minutes" but it also works internationally and has the best rates I've ever seen. I think it's like $.09 per min to Egypt, which is excellent. If you use up the whole card you can also recharge it over the phone for the same rates instead of having to buy a new one.

Hope this helps, good luck!

There is one good pre-paid calling card that you can buy in any newsstand or tiny shops/stores over there in Egypt. The best is one of 50 LE (Egyptian Pounds) - and then, go to the next public telephone and insert that card and call back home. I have forgotten the name of that company (prepaid card) and I only have used this one when I was there a couple of years ago.

Greetings from Germany

Calling from USA to Egypt, the best calling rate is 12.5 cents/min with maintenance fee (Saturn card), or 15.9 cents/min without maintenance fee (Bizon card).

If you make a lot of calls and a long-time call often, maintenance fee will not affect much on your calling minutes. Otherwise, you need a calling card without maintenance fee but higher calling rate.

If you will call to a cellphone, the calling rate is cheaper.
