I don't know the password to my hp pavilion, there is something seriously wrong with it and it wont let me do anything untill i enter the password, is there anyway to bypass this or way at all to get into my computer?

so does that involve taking apart the computer? Do you know how to do this? I can take it apart but i mean reseting bios??

Ok guys i need this in dummy style, what the heck is a jumper and where do i find it....Thank you so much for helping

The only way is to reset the BIOS. There is usually a jumper on the motherboard that when closed (a jumper is placed over the pins) or open (jumper is removed) the BIOS will reset and remove the password.

You have to finda and identify the jumper that will "flash" the bios. turn your pc off, apply the jumper accordingly, start the computer. When it starts fully, shut it down, undo the jumper to where it was. That should clear your password problem.
