hi maria,
do not worry. let the date of period come. every intercourse cannot be a chance of pregnancy. but tell ur friend not to take chance in future. use condom and enjoy the life!

Some preg tests say they can test as early as 4 days before the missed period, so she could test on Feb. 30. However, the amount of hCG hormone that they test for could be very low at this point and the test could show a false negative. Tell her to just wait until March 4th to be sure and if her period doesn't come then do a test that way she doesn't waste money on two tests.

If you do not chart or monitor your fertility in any way, and you think you may have conceived, you should wait 19 days (or longer) after having sex to test. Why 19?! Sperm can live approximately 5 days in the proper environment; if the sperm managed to live until you popped an egg, the actual conception could have taken place several days after the sex act that got the sperm there. To make sure you're not testing too early, assume the sperm had very long lives (5 days is considered a very long sperm life) and that conception occurred then. Then allow 14 days for the embryo to implant and develop enough hCG to show up on a pregnancy test (96% of pregnant women will test positive by then.)

I would suggest to wait until March 4th to see if she gets her period. If she doesn't get it, she'll have a good chance of detecting it soon after. I took a pregnancy test 2 days after my missed period and it showed 2 lines, one very faint. I took another test the next day and it was a definite possitive. I strongly recomend Clear Blue!! It tells you "Pregnant" or "Not pregnant". It's the best!! Good Luck to your friend!!

Tell her to wait until the 4th of march before testing. Testing too early can get a false negitive.

she should wait until her period is due and do a test then, if she is not pregnant she should see her dr for contraceptive advice so she will not find herself in this situation again
