I've got a 13" TV as of right now. I've also got $500 to blow on gaming goodness.
An Xbox 360 and Dead Rising seem like an awesome idea but my current TV is so tiny that I don't know if it will be worth playing on it.
However, the 360 is readily available at just about any retailer.
Another option is getting a $250 Wii and buying the new Zelda game and saving another $50 for the new Paper Mario when it comes out early April. I would also be picking up the $90 20" Magnavox TV that Walmart carries.
The downside to the Wii is that it is quite difficult still to find one. And as with any Nintendo Console of the past 10 years or so, you run the risk of buying a paperweight that no third parties publish on after a few years.

xbox is price is gone drop if i was u wait for now bc its gettin close bc england or britain lowered the price already..i'd w8 and i have a wii nothin special about the wii...yet until the new games are out so w8 n get a wiibox for less 300 xbox and 250 for the wii...win win

I LOVE my xbox 360 lemme tell you that. I was debating whether I should wait and get a PS3 and I couldn't be happier with my 360. It really depends on what kind of games you want to play. Although they do have a normal controller for the wii, it isn't as functional as the 360's. The 360 is chock full of cool features and it's really a powerful system. Although the Wii is an awesome concept and I would love to try the new Zelda, I'm very happy with my 360
