It is not proper to group people by races or to make such a broad generalization. White men do stick together in some senses, they actually built empires, enslaves other races, carved a civiliztion out othe the wildersness, built cites etc. Lately they've been more passive, but they have an awful lot of white men in power, so I wouldn't write them all off.

I agree with one of your answerer's who illustrated how diverse the "white" culture is and that these subcultures do tend to group together, ie; Irish, German, Italians, etc. One should also consider that it is a long and proven theory, that there are strength in numbers. Whites seldom remember tribal allegiances as they have long dominated other races. Whites have forced most other races of people to be subservient, and have forgotten how to stand as one unit, when they have such overwhelming numbers. I think it prudent, at this juncture, to point out that racism will abound as long as we continue to classify one another by race. I believe pride in ones' heritage is a good and strong thing, but labelling ourselves according to race only serves to further separate us and magnify cultural distances. Moreover, I would warm faster to a person who said "I'm an American", than I would to one who claimed solely their race.

Ummm... cause 'white' covers a very large group of people that have different cultures, beliefs, and reasons to argue with each other. It is good to point out that most 'non-white' groups also have a multitude of different cultures, beliefs, and reasons to argue with each other as well. I'm aboriginal. We all get lumped into the same group "Indians", although we have different cultures, beliefs, and traditions.

you must not know any white guys. All the ones I know stick together!! I believe race has nothing yo do with it, but rather the personalities and upbring.

Talk to the Bloods and the Crips and see how much they stick together.
Then talk to the Japanese and the Chinese, see how well they stick together.
No races "stick together". Theres fighting in between members of the same races goin on everyday.

I think it has to do with the fact that alot of white men are tought to look after them and only them, where in alot of other cultures the men are tought to look after family and be more loyal to friends.
