Go to http://www.last.fm. Sign up. It would have been nice if you had played some of the music you usually like, because then you'd be able to listen to 'recommended radio', which is a radio stream that plays songs suggested to you by virtue of your listening habits and how they compare to the listening habits of others.

There are other cool features on the last.fm site. Check it out, if you're bored, as you've stated.

I started getting bored with all these new rap R&B and hip hop songs. they all kindof sound the same now so I started listing to the old stuff again and some rock. After a while I'll check to see whats playing on the radio to see if anythings good.

Get out of the elevator, take the stairs.
Or open up ...listen to where the music you are bored with came from. Go back and listen to the greats of R&R, or R&B, or Jazz, or Rap/Hip Hop. Or what ever you are listening to. The radio was mentioned...good source.
