I used a product called Graffiti Go.

Not stocked in my local stores, I looked on Froogle for it.

I hope Yahoo don't mind me saying that, the last time I recommended looking on a google site, I got a violation notice.

It is non harmful (to the environment) and works.

Just spray in on (pump action), wait and brush off with stiff brush and water.

It works - what else can I say.

Regards
David

I'm not sure about the graffiti remover but I second the sand blaster method mentioned above. That's what we did when the neighborhood kids painted a giant penis on my wall. All you need to do is cover the plants with a tarp or drop cloth to protect them. You can even hire most general handymen to do this job for pretty cheap plus the cost of the blaster rental. We only paid about 50 dollars for the whole thing.

I really don't know how environmentally friendly it is but, there is a product call SILICON CARBIDE RUBBING BRICK . It's about 4inx6in square with abrasive particles, use it like an eraser. I used it some years ago to remove dried roofing tar from the side of a stone building.

Depending on the situation, you can probably be safe using gasoline as long as the plants don't get drenched in it they shouldn't die. I have never had gasoline contact with plants but from general observations of other situations your plants will be ok. Gas and thinner are prob your only options.

Ok heres what you do. YOU need a sand blaster to remove the paint. COVEr the plants while they are sand blasting. A tarp is good. THIS HAPPENED to US and THIS is what we did.
