I am sorta new to manga. What do you recomend?

If you want something funny you could try...
One Piece - the laughter just comes unexpectedly largely due to the characters, and it also has a pretty solid storyline.
GTO (Great Teacher Onizuka) - featuring the crazy teacher Onizuka! it also has a pretty solid storyline, which makes it a bit serious sometimes. After you read the manga, you could watch the live action rendition, which is also pretty funny too.
Gintama - is just plain crazy, it's really smack you on the face laughter. but you'd have to get good translations...
Perfect Girl Evolution/Wallflower - is pretty funny but its still pretty much starting out
School rumble - is okay too! the characters are always in these unexpected situations and seeing their reactions is really fun.
Yakitate! Japan - it's people baking bread, in the silliest and most exaggerated side of it. It's so silly you'll rofl.

I disagree with Naruto and Bleach, they only start out as funny, but most of the chapters are pretty damn serious.

I can only think of Fruits Basket, Cowboy Bebop, Shaman King, One Piece, Naruto, Bleach, and Samurai Champloo at the moment...
