Ok so I know how to see my video card I have by going to Device Manager, there it lists the same thing twice, Intel(R)(lots of numbers) ExpressChipsetFamily, now my question is how do I see what its is, :ex 256:. I went into properties went through all the tabs and I dont see anything which shows what I want, is there another way instead of having to open up the computer?

Ok since I am using a bulit in video, would it be possible to buy a better video card and put it in my computer?

Express chipset, thats built in video. No card. And it seems to be 256Mb. You're seeing what you're looking for. When you install a card, it will show up seperately in device manager.

Yes, it is definately possible to install a better video card. Just be sure you buy one that matches the slot on your mother board. A new video card generally makes everything much quicker than onboard video.

Even if you open the computer you cant read the memory chips on the video card, even if its not shared RAM.
If its a name brand computer HP/IBM try the manual that came with the computer. Or you can find the model of the computer and find it on the name brand computer website for specifications even manuals.
