I am on my 3rd month of trying to conceive after comming off the pill. Last month I had a false positive and my period was 1 week late. How long did it take you to conceive after comming off the pill, being on the pill for at least 5 years?

it can vary from person to person, as you are on the pills for a long time, your body requires time to come back to normal, it might take you 1 year or may be you can get prgnt next month... cant say dear, pray to god.. & relax

i was on the pill for 18 months and got pregnant the month after i came of it, but it can take up to a year for you body to settle into a regular cycle after coming of the pill, good luck

from what I heard from my gyne, it would take a few months, especially that you had been on the pill for quite a while. Also, I think whether you were pregnant before matters. And your age too. Talk to a professional for best advice.

asfter taking off pills u have to wait for atleast 3 months than onwards ur 1st month is to be counted means after 3 months u consdier 4th months as a 1st month of trial.....

You cant tell when it will happen, talk to your doctor about it.My friend was off the shot for two years before she got pregnant.now she is three months pregnant.

well....it depends....my experience with it....i was on the pill for 3 months....2 months later i found out i was pregnant....

I concived twice while ON the pill...never concived when I was off.
