I'll take the guy from Cleveland, Texas?...
Hafner is the better keeper - he is more consistent year to year, you can almost bank on what you are getting and maintains a higher batting avg to go with power so he is less prone to long slumps. Beltran has potential to be good or not so good every year, it's always a risk. They are both the same age so that is not a concern other than Hafner DH's and doesn't risk getting hurt fielding or wearing out during the season.

In our league we have to start a DH so I'd take Hafner. There are only a hand full of real good DHs but there are many more good CFs out there. Plus Hafner is much more consistent than Beltran.

I go Beltran. He can put up power numbers a little less than Hafner, but he will make up for that with steals and far less strike outs. Keep in mind Hafner only has util eligibility.

beltran gives you power and speed. 5 tool guy. hafner probably has the more better power numbers, but beltran is still pretty good himself but give you the SB hafner wont and hafner can only be a utility player.

Beltran, cause he get steals, HRs, RBIs, Runs, and Average. Hes a complete players.

And Hafner doesnt play in Texas. Unless I missed the Indians move.

Hafner because he plays in Texas and Beltran is in Shea Stadium. Beltran only plays when its a contract year, pedro's pitching or when fans on espn declare he's the most overrated player in baseball.
