There Are Allot Of Good Things About Them ( Heres A Few )
1 ) They Are Very Socialbe
2 ) They Only Bite If In Pain
3 ) There Awake At Day , Not At Night When Yoour Sleeping
4 ) They Don't Smell

This totally depends on your lifestyle, how long you have to spend with the pet, how much you want to spend to buy it and how much you can spend per month to feed it, clothe it, (if needed), medicate it, educate it...............etc................
A bird is the idea that comes to mind for me only because I've had a bird for the last 35 years or so........... but birds aren't for everyone, you may be more of a rat or lizard/snake person.
It's hard to tell without some more details as to your situation.

Well if you're looking for a small animal maybe a guinea pig would do ya good. Seriously I never thought I'd love the little cutties, but I do now.

it depends on how much time and money you want to put into him. first its gonna cost you to buy him. and food, and supplies. I have turtle, which is wayyy low maitenence... we feed him and change his water and make sure he is warm. Our cat is the same, kittie litter food and toys. Ferrets are also fun, theyre cute and a very intelligent. maybe fish!! lol, good luck!
