They are showing that they thought it was well made. I usually get out before the credits roll. If I were a movie maker and people clapped I would feel good that I had made people feel something with my movie. It is awkward though.

why do people ask weird questions at 1am in the morning?why ask why..if a movie is good then i guess you could clap..yes weird but you only live once so whatever..i know i dont clap

Where I live, they don't clap at the end. They all just get up and leave.

I've only done it a couple of times, but both times I was simply inspired. You pay so much money to sit through some really terrible, "cookie-cutter" movies. When something is original and well done, well acted, and original these days....that's worth applauding!

when it has reached his destination, as soon the plane hit the ground!!
