.. views of the mountains and the ocean in Africa. But secretly I've always wondered or wanted to live in a trailer park like a slob and drink beers and watch T. V. on my own without any one telling me what to do. Is this normal or is it (grass is always greener on the other side syndrome) got out of control?

Trust me when I say keep your home. I say this being someone who's lived in a trailer house. Do you know how fast they burn? Seriously, in less than 15 minutes. Imagine standing on your front lawn in your underwear screaming as you watch your whole life burn and you can't do anything to stop it.

Fact: Mobile homes over 4 years old that are made in the US are known to contain 47 elements and chemicals in their construction that are listed as highly flamible...

Fact: Due to reduced insulation, low quality of wiring, and living conditions or area of home placement (demographic) mobile home wiring is almost 8 times as likely to short out and start a fire than regualar homes, even homes that are over 80 years old...

Fact: Most mobile homes built before 1985 burn in less than 15 minutes...That's completely to the ground! Newer mobile homes burn down between 15 and 25 minutes on the average. That's your whole life gone in about a quarter to half of an hour. The average permanent home burns down completely between 45minutes to an 1 1/2 hours. MUCH more time for firefighters to get to the scene!

Fact: 1 out of 3 life time owners or residents of mobile homes will experience a devastating fire. Only 1 in 50 permanent home owners or residents will experience a devastating fire in their lifetime.

Fact: Due to the short burn time and high burn temperature of mobile homes the residents therof are almost 18 times less likely to survive than people who live in or own permanenet homes.

Scary huh?

I guess it's the other way around for people in trailer parks. I know I'd much rather live in a house like yours then a trailer park, I'm a middle class gal though so up is the way I would want to go. Try long camping trip every year, maybe it will satisfy your urge. Go all out, be slob, drink beer, and enjoy your escape from your palatial estate (although I personally could never dream of doing so)!

The grass is always greener Dude.
I'd sell the house and buy yourself an Airstream trailer with all the trimmings.
You must have seen the movie Trailer Park Boys. Now that's the good life. Drink beer and let it all hang out Now that's the life

Don't forget a couple of pink flamingos on either side of your
front door, a bench type car seat so you can sit outside and
drink your beer, take the screens off your windows and crack
a couple panes of glass.
