My husband and I hve been ttc for a little over a year now. We went to my dr. on valentines day and found out that i have PCOS and don't ovulate(I only get my period twice a year). My doctor gave me Provera to start my cycle. I will take Clomid on days 5-9. I was wondering if any one has had any luck with Clomid. I want stories of success and failures please. And if you conceived how soon did you conceive?

Hi I just finished my first course of clomid that I took on days 5-9. I did the sex thing and now am just waiting to see if it has worked or not. The reason why I need it in the first place is that I was on Depo Provera I only had 2 shots and as a result I stopped ovulating a side effect of the depo so my specialist tells me (I already have 2 children). So i am hoping that I am pregnant and if not i am hoping that it has kicked started my ovulation and i can conceive naturally. The effects of Clomid have been wicked as I am just plain mean mean mean. PMS x1000. Good luck.

it fairly is the 2d month I incredibly have been on clomid. final month I took 50 mg of clomid on day 5-9. I ovulated on cd 23. This month i'm taking 50 mg of clomid on day 4-8, accompanied by potential of estrodoil on day 9-12. i wish this could be the month! i did no longer have any symptons on a similar time as taking clomid, in spite of the reality that my AF replaced into heavy this month with a lot of cramping the 1st day.

Hi, Clomid worked for me. We tried for 2 years with no luck - I only have one ovary. I only had to take Clomid for one month and then I got pregnant.

Just be aware that Clomid will make you a raging bag of hormones. Like horrible PMS. Just do relaxing things - hot baths, take walks, whatever relaxes you. It just magnifies PMS symptoms.

After my first, I got pregnant with my second with no problems.

Best of luck to you!

I took it years ago.
Be sure that your husband's sperm count be checked. I tried to get pregnant for five years and took meds and had surgery etc......and finally a doc said..."has anyone ever checked your husbands sperm count?? I said no. The doctor checked and my husband (now my X) barely had a live swimmable sperm.
