Generally by "co-operating" with the pigs--which means snitching and participating in the agents' and prosecutors' witness-tampering/perjury conspiracies.

``God bless America?'' What the phuque? Does anybody ACTUALLY believe the Almighty would bless an evil and UNHOLY union of quasi-totalitarian POLICE STATES?

My cousin was sentenced for 10 yrs for meth down here in Iowa and ended up doing 6months prision 6 months in a half-way house. He has since been arrested several times and usually only does 3-6months because its not cost effective to keep non-violent offenders behind bars. Most of the harsh sentencing is a way to scare people straight and hopefully this will work for your brother. Having family members at the trial always helps and admiting guilt doesn't hurt either. You can also get out earlier if you find a outside job willing to hire you.

It depends what he is willing to do. He can strike a deal with the cops and he could rat some people out. That's never a good idea, but it probably will reduce his sentence. It's all about cooperation.

Do the crime do the time. How is the sentencing too extreme? He committed the crime and got caught. That is a very good thing. He is selling crack cocaine to children and shouldn't be walking the streets. It is tough love, but it is time to let him grow up and maybe learn that mommie and sis can't bail him out of all his stupid behaviors. It is mean to say all of this, but I have two brothers just like yours and they never learn from their mistakes. My mom has bailed them out everytime and they still repeat their crimes until they get caught again. Let your brother learn the lesson he earned even if you will miss him while he is away. He did this to himself.

mandatory sentencing is basically that, mandatory. except there is a few thank you to make a plea settlement with the prosecuting criminal expert for a lessor fee. i understand here in TX they classify the crime via the quantity of medicine that the guy had possession of over xx grams, decrease than xx grams of xxx substance. My heart is going out to you and your mom, yet whilst there is mandatory sentencing, then the judges palms are tied. I propose you and mom occasion and pray that your brother learns from this and springs out a extra acceptable and better individual on the different ingredient.

I am very sorry for your family. It is a shame that our racists government has a different sentencing standard for crack than for powder cocaine.

Your bro is a dumb ***. 50 grams is less then two oz. what did he do, punch a DEA agent to get attention?
