My Samsung player's model is YP-Z5F and when I connect it to my computer, it doesn't get noticed by the computer. This means that even though it says it's being charged on my MP3 Player, it actually isn't.

I also can't send files to my MP3 because it is not detected by the Samsung Media Studio too. Please help! Is it because of my cable or my MP3?

I tried resetting the MP3 and everything on the help manual and it still does not word. Help!

Thanks. (:

go to http://www.samsung.com/support/index.asp, type in the model number and download the most current driver. when you install it, it should overwrite the old one.

if the mp3 player works, you just can't get it connected to the computer, then it's like you said, it's either the driver or the cable. it's more likely that it's the driver, so follow the steps above.

I have a YP-55 and I had to re-install the driver before.

try to test your cable to other units if by chance you know some1 who uses d same cable as yours. if it works, you might have a hardware problem. like your usb port in mp3 has malfunctioned,it mught have been disconnected to d board of your unit, your cable maybe replaced, or if not...you myt need to reinstall your driver... goodluck!!!

Check your manual as it may tell you instructions. If not, like the other poster said, take the battery out, wait a minute then put it back in. Nothing will go wrong. Just don't make it a habit ;)
