So far during my pregnancy I've lost about 10 lbs. I'm 14 weeks and 2 days pregnant. But I'm still getting bigger! I don't think I could possibly be bloated THAT bad. Half my jeans don't fit, and I'm showing without a doubt. My belly is even getting harder. I was slightly overweight before getting pregnant. I'm not sure if it makes a difference.

Has anyone else lost weight during pregnancy but their belly got bigger? Or maybe know what's going on with this?

I've lost weight with all three of my pregnancies. With my first, in total, I lost 5 pounds when all was said and done. She weighed 5lbs, 10oz. With my second, in total, I lost 1 pound. She weighed 6lbs, 15oz. So far with baby#3 (I'm about 13 weeks along now), I'm down 5lbs.
I was down 20lbs. with my first pregnancy until about the 7th month. My midwife was a bit freaked out and put me on semi bedrest. When I started out losing weight with my second, she wasn't as worried. With this one, it's old hat and we're not even phased by it. We joke that pregnancy is the best diet I've ever been on!!
As long as you're doing everything that you're supposed to (eating right, resting properly, avoiding stresses, etc.) there is nothing to worry about.
Good luck!

Hi, I wanted to tell you about my experience with the CurvyBust cream. I'm 24 years old and I've spent pretty much my whole life wishing I had slightly larger breasts. I'm normally a size A, I'd love to be a size B, especially when I wear certain kinds of low cut tops. I have a good figure, and I like what I have, but every now and then I would like a little bit more. Even if I had the money, (which I don't because I am a college student with loans to pay off), I would never consider going under the knife just to go up 1 cup size. So that's been my dilemma. I found out about curvybust cream when I was flipping through (Yahoo Answers). To be honest with you, I'm not the type of girl who would consider spending money on a cream that promises to increase breast size. It just seems like an impossible thing to claim. But there were three reasons that I decided to go for it: 1) I contacted them via their website because I had a question about the cream being OK for sensitive skin (which it is, because it is made of natural botanical ingredients.) 2) I was really impressed by their customer service and willingness to explain everything to me. 3) They offered me a free 12 day supply with no obligation, (I just had to pay the shipping costs- I wasn't too thrilled with that but it was still worth it to get the free product). Well, it's actually working! There is a noticeable difference in the size of my breasts! It's only been 10 days, and they say that the true final results won't appear until about the 4-6 month time frame, but based on what I can see, (and what my boyfriend can feel) there's definitely a difference. My breasts are standing out more, and they are fuller and rounder. Sometimes I am able to go out without a bra, now I can't. And I have a feeling that I might have to actually buy new bras if the growth continues. I'm looking forward to seeing how the next month goes. There might actually be a size B in my future! Woohoo!

So far I have lost 20-25 pounds in my pregnancy. The doctor said it was because the hypothyroid medication (and healthy eating) balanced my thyroid hormones so it was not anything to worry about. But, I notice my belly is bigger as well. Remember even when you lose weight you are putting on weight where it needs to be, so if you are losing weight in you hips and thighs you are gaining weight in your tummy. I think being overweight does make a difference though. I myself was overweight and I have heard that smaller people tend to show earlier and better (but I can't really say if it is true or not) than those who are overweight. As long as the doctor is not concerned you should be fine. You will be gaining baby weight even if you do not gain weight. As long as you are not purposely dieting (Not meaning changes in eating habits but reducing calorie intake etc.) then it is normal.

Like you, I lost weight until I was about 6 months pregnant, because that's when I stopped throwing up all day.
Just because you are losing weight doesn't mean that your baby will stop growing..... in other words- your belly is getting bigger because the baby is growing. You want that- don't you?

I believe you're okay, but...

You are 14 weeks in so you are definitely bloated. I bet you're emiting some gas as well. Totally okay. It's also all the milk products you're eating. I know you're also feeling weak and dizzy at times. Totally normal. Just hope you don't have high blood pressure and sweating a lot. If you are sweating a lot and getting hotflashes, well then go to your emergency room.

My sister is going through that right now. She has had very bad morning sickness and has lost weight because of it, however her belly is getting bigger because the baby is taking whatever she has left. My sister looked like hell but she is doing much better now. rest assured, it will change. Also, because you were slightly overweight and now that you are pregnant, you are proably eating a little more healthy which could be why you have lost some weight. Also, again, your baby is feeding off of you. Good luck.

it ok!! i too am loosing weight with this baby. i only gave birth to my first child 6 months ago and am 17.5 weeks preg AGAIN!! i gained too much weight with my son, 37lbs and i am naturally slim. since giving birth i have lost all that weight, but as i am eating eally healthy with this preg, i am stll loosing body fat whilst gaining a baby bump. i hope that makes sense. if u have a look at the food u are eating, you are maybe eating healthier than pre pregnancy? my mumma was overweight during her 8 pregnancies and lost weight in all of them as she ate healthy an cut caffiene. all her babies were over 8 lbs. she's now 48 and trim thanks to adopting the way she ate when she was pregnant into her every day life. u will be suprised how much weight will fall off when u cut out caffiene (if u have, i dont in pregnancy) excess salt, alcohol and unecessary fats. i know the last thing i want when preg is anything deep fried!! i really hope this helps you, my guess, and it is just a guess, is that u have changed eating habits and are lossing unecessary fat whilst gaining a bump - I had one at 14 weeks too, but it looks really big at times just due to bloating and the changes going on within your body. just rememeber that your babe is tiny, and u prob aren't showin too much, but it is natural to be bloated as your organs move to accomodate the growing womb. saying that though, i have friends that got huge at first and then stayed abou that size till about 7 months. all the very best!!

with my last, i lost weight at first, about 15 pounds. i was sick and also i was eating healthier. of course your belly is going to get bigger, that is your baby growing. your hard belly is normal. don't worry, ur ok. if you feel like it is a problem, talk it over with your ob. they will notice if there is a weight problem, thats why they weigh u at each visit. try not to stress too much, its not good for ur baby. enjoy being pregnant, and congrats!!!

That actually happened to my best friend throughout her pregnancy. She was so worried and kept going into see the doctor. But she and the baby were perfectly fine. Just continue eating healthy for you and the baby and drink LOTS of water.

My girlfriend had a beautiful healthy baby girl.
