every now & then i sneeze or cough pretty hard & something happens at the top of my rib cage. its a little to my right & the way i describe it is that its a rib being dislocated but then i push around in that area, kindof like massaging, & then it goes back into place. what could this be? its doesnt really hurt but it feels abnormal. im not worried, just curious. & afterward sometimes that area is a little sore for about a day. thanks!

it sounds like you may be hypermobile. hypermobile people can dislocate and relocate joints, or strechts joints further than ordinary people can. Its usually not medically threatening.
If you fee any uncomfort, or pain, you should go see a docter.

When you see your doctor you should mention this. It does not sound bad but if it was a congenital defect that put you at risk it is worth checking out.

i know what im going to say is silly...but if u r old enough "50 or more" that could be osteoporosis...otherwise nothing is wrong
