Gerald Green is a definite all-star. He came straightout of High school and that has been a burden on him. He is all this athletism without much knowledge. I'm glad that he finally received some recognition in the Slam-Dunk Contest. With Paul Pierce and Wally Szczerbiak as his mentors he will shape up well and learn to use his skills. He would be a Sophmore in college right now and i think it will take one more year of seasoning before he comes out of his shell. He can obviously dunk and drive to the basket, but he need to learn to post up better and his body is perfect for posting other small forwards. Hes three point shooting is starting to shape up and he can possibly become a serious threat at the end of the year. If he works on his defense he can be a Shawn Marion like player plus the flare. His stats in his first 2 season are very similar or better than those of Kobe Bryant, Tracy McGrady, and Michael Redd.

I think he can be an all-star, once he gets a PG that can find him open for dunks, or mid-range to long jumpers. If he can get a consisten shot going, and start making his freethrows, he has a really good chance of becoming an all-star. He also needs to become a better defender, well everyone pretty much in the NBA does... but he for sure will be in a lot of high lights, with his dunks over people and just plain out fast breaks. but thats in the future, not in couple years... at least not with the Celtics.

He will be a decent starter. He can dunk. Wow. I think he will end up being like J-Rich, a very decent starter, but not an all-star

He can be an allstar...why?? He has all the parts and just have to put it together... Hes still young but his athletic long and just have to get more consistent and play better defense, some things that players will get better at as they grow older...
