As stated above, it is more likely you've had Endo all along and for one reason or another, it was asymptomatic until now. It's also entirely possible that it isn't Endo at all; there are other causes of pelvic pain and yours should be investigated ASAP - particularly in light of the fact that you recently gave birth.

If I understand your message correctly, you're saying that you did not keep this baby and are worried about having more children of your own later, is that accurate? There is absolutely no reason to worry right now; if it is Endo, with proper treatment (excision and/or IVF protocols as necessary), most women who want to have children with Endo, do. There is absolutely no reason to assume right now, particularly in light of the fact that you were obviously able to have one child, that secondary infertility will be a concern for you personally. Though Endo is a leading cause of infertility, with help and proper treatment, infertility can be resolved in many cases.

First find out what is causing your pain. Then work on getting the most accurate and effective treatments for whatever it may be.

Good luck and feel better.

It is possible that you have had Endo this whole time, but it hasn't started to cause any problems until now. Many women go through life never even knowing that they have endo. Women w/ lots of implants may never feel the pain, but women w/ a few implants can be in pain all day. I know because I have endo. I had symptoms while in high school, but after the birth of my son it stopped. However when I gave birth to my daughter it came back full force and I still dealing w/ the pain every day. It is possible to have more children, you need to talk to you doctor and see what medications would work best for you to get the pain under control and let them know that you are hoping to have more children. Don't get to worried about it now, it will only make you feel worse. I know that when I am under alot of stress it causing the cramping to become even worse.

Good Luck

Yes, it is very possible to get endometriosis after having had a baby. I've met a few women that it has happened to. But just because one has endometriosis that doesn't necessarily mean that they will never be able to get pregnant again.

With the help of an experienced surgeon to try and excise (cut out) as much of the endometriosis imiplants as possible you improve your chances of trying to have a baby on your own.

Yes, it is possible. It may not be endometriosis. Talk to your gynecologist. If your periods are normal (in terms of the amount of blood) and you do not have painful cramps, it is probably not endometriosis. Best to get checked out. You can be given things to get rid of it without surgery if it is.

You really need to read "Endometriosis Bible & Violet Protocol" by Zoe Brown (also available in electronic format here: http://www.endometriosisbible.info ). It's about how to eradicate endometriosis disease forever. It worked for me, you will see results in only a matter of weeks. Good Luck!
