The Knicks will make it, the Heat are not going to the playoffs this year. I think the other team to make it from this group would be the Nets.

Orlando and the Nets, unless Miami pulls of a miracle, which that probably wont happen (but i'd love to be proven wrong) Orlando is just too young and has so much raw potential with Howard and Nelson. Remember Nelson is a 2nd half of the season player, and Howard isn't even close to his prime yet, so if Howard can get closer to his prime and Nelson keeps up the good work, this team might go far in the playoffs, depends on the match-ups... And the nets just got lucky with Wade. without wade, miami is nothing, so the Nets pretty much got a shoe-in to be in the playoffs. If they don't make it, they better get rid of Kidd and Vince so they can be on a contender and finally win a ring.

Miami and Orlando. I don't see any team in the Atlantic other than the division winner making it to playoffs, and it looks like the Raptors are playing solid enough to hold off the Nets and Knicks.

I think iami and Orlando will will themselves into the playoffs. Miami is the current champion and I don't think they would allow their throne to be taken from them without having the chance to defend it. Orlando, on the other hand, is a young team with a pool of talented players. They are hungry for a title, too. I think both are eager to make a playoff run.

The Orlando Magic will get the 7th seed and now that Wade is going to be out for a while, the Nets will get the 8th seed

in all seriousness though, i see the magic and nets making it, but the knicks and heat will not...the knicks are just a joke, they may be improving but will not be going anywhere as long as isiah coaches them...the heat without d-wade just aren't much of anything
