ok, I know it is/was a classic,but i wanted to ask this for all those who has /had seen the movie. You can pick anyone to play those parts, no same sex casting please. this was a great movie and I hope to expand the possibilities!! personally i picked Sean Penn and Susan Sarandon. Would you recast the kid's part to Dakota Fanning? Or any other kid star??

Funny, I would pick Robin Wright-Penn and Tim Robbins (your choices' significant others). Also, I would have to pick Abigail Breslin as the child. Susan Sarandon is getting a little old to be playing the mother of such a young child and Dakota Fanning is just too over the top.

Michael Douglas, Julia Roberts. Any kid actor.
But whoever plays these parts are going to have a tough job making some of us unfavorably compare them to the original cast.

I would cast Michael Richards and Michael Richards. Now that's Kramer vs. Kramer!

no one quite compares to Kramer, so that would be a hard one, but he is funny isn't he
