i've been hearing about it since forever ago but i never watched it when it came on, but i keep hearing about it and that it's good and i'm really tempted to get it on dvd, but i HATE wasting money on movies i'm disappointed by. is it worth getting? or is it really just a lame kiddie movie?

It is a great movie and good for the ages of 0 to 100 plus. We have it and Love it and we are from 17-51 in my house.

Its more of a cheesy movie for kids.. youd like it.. i mean if u are a kid.. but its ok though..not worth buying in my opinion.. why not just wait until it comes on disney channel again?> they show a different movie every night at 8.. i wouldnt waste money buying it

No, its a freaking Disney Movie.
It was made for children and thats the only reason why its popular. The kiddies have gone gaga for it.
I can't stand the horrible songs they have and will loathe the day that
HSM2 comes out on Disney.. because it is coming...

I really tried HARD to like it..as people said it was this years GREASE,But really it was childish and boring and I hated every minute of it and the songs are so unmemorable I forget them.

its a good movie.........its not good for u if ur not into pop music or musicals in general but other than that i love the movie the songs are nice too

It's cliched, predictable rubbish.
The songs are crap, the acting is crap, the plot is crap, and the film holds no interest to anyone who has an IQ over 65.
Avoid it.

Please, keep that 8 bucks in your pocket and spend it on a book instead.
The movie is that bad.
Poorly directed, poorly laid out, poorly laid out storyline, poorly progressing storyline, terrible dialogue, and extremely basic dance coordination.

you either love it or hate it. i personally don't like it. i thought it was corny and unrealistic. but i know some friends that absolutely love it.
