How do you lose those? Keep your important papers in a safe place, especially ones with your SS# on them. Contact the employer for a copy.

Call that company that you worked for and request another one be sent to you right away so you can file your taxes on time.

While the company that employed you is responsible for mailing them out to you by January 31st of this year, you are responsible for making sure you received it, and not losing it in the interim.

The company will still have it saved in their computer in their employee files, for legal reasons, for their tax records.

I just contacted my employer, they said they sent mine out on January 31, I never received it. They have the information and are going to send me a duplicate.
