x^2 + 3x = 28
x^2 + 3x -28 = 0
(x +7) (x -4)= 0

(x+7) and (x-4) are the factors. But what has this got to do with cricket?

x^2 + 3x - 28 = 0

(x + 7) (x - 3) = 0

x = -7; x = 3
