I recently changed a head and got a new carb for my truck, now most of you out there(that mes with old vehicles) know what a 350 sounds like with straight pipes and fully broke in glass packs, it was loud, now that I changed tht head and got a new carb its quieter? whys that? 75 chevy truck

You make have had some escaping exhaust and the new parts stopped the problem.
