Spinosaurus - it is the lizard with spines on its back. The spines help in fanning and keeping the lizard cool during the day-time hunts.

In Jurassic Park III T-rex fights Spinosaurus aegiptiacus, which lived 70 mya in N. Africa, which looked like the Florida keys at the time. The only known specimen was discovered in the 1910's with vertebral spines 6' tall and a 7' jaw. The total animal was estimated to be around fifty feet long. The fossils were destroyed in WWII. It is thought that Spinosaurus was mostly a fish eater, and the sail on it's back was meant to help stabilize it whilst in the water, as well as regulate temperature. Recent expeditions have unearthed scant remains of spinosaurus, but a skeleton of any completeness would be a prize.
Other giant theropods (meat eating dinosaurs) larger than T-rex was Charcarodontosaurus from Morocco at roughly 45' long and Giganotosaurus from Argentina coming in at about 50' long.

Spinosaurus is the big one that killed the T-rex but in reality (according to several experts), the T-rex would have killed the Spinosaurus. The Spinosaurus was only longer, but had a much slimer lighter build. It also had teeth build to just pierce flesh, Rex had teeth built to pierce and crush bone. The Rex also was skilled in taking out land dinosaurs, the Spinosaurus just hunted fish and other water animals.

When the plane lands, it is quickly attacked by a Spinosaurus, a colossal finned dinosaur, killing Cooper on the runway. The plane hits the Spinosaurus on takeoff and crashes up in some tall trees. The dinosaur bites the front of the plane off and eats the pilot, Nash (along with a satellite phone), stranding the rest of the group on the island. A chase ensues in which the party runs into a bull Tyrannosaurus which chases them until it meets the Spinosaurus. A fight ensues where the Spinosaurus kills the Tyrannosaurus by snapping its neck

The Spinosaurus is the one you're thinking of, it's actually just longer than the T-Rex. The T-Rex had it beat in terms of weight.
Interesting fact, the Spinosaurus was a fish eater which is why it had conical teeth and a long snout to help snag fish out of a nearby water source.

From what I understand, the actual size of the Spinosaurus is up for debate because scientists have recovered very little of it's skeleton
