anyone have any stories? i got hypnotized at a show but didnt volunteer. i was watching my friend and paid attention too closely and went under. it was pretty weird but cool.

No and I don't think I will. I don't want ot give someone that kind of control over my my or my psyche.

Most shows where people are hypnotized are bull. No one is actually hypnotized (although hypnotism is real) but the people on stage just want to believe it so much that they act like they are and fool themselves into believing they are. It is one of the many con jobs that we have to dodge in our lives.

I was a skeptic to hypnotism.Then my g/f at the time invited me to see Pat Collins The Hip Hypnotist in Hollywood. She was a stage hand for the show. I was asked to be a guest on stage with about 6 other guys. I told her I will be open minded for her and go along with routine. I didn't realize I was under until she told everyone to have a seat. I was then told to keep my body erect and that I was a stiff board. Her stage hands lifted me by my heels and back of my head. With my heels on the back of a chair,and my head on the back of another chair,I stayed there holding a gallon of wine on my stomach for the duration of the show. About 20 mins. I was fully aware, with no discomfort.
If I didn't do this myself, I would'nt believe it.

No i never got hypnotized, but I don't want to, I would make a fool or myself.
