My cousin, who I am really close to is married to my best friend. He deploys for Iraq in two weeks, and next Sunday wasn't to suprise his wife (my best friend). I am not married, so am not really good at planning, he asked me to help. These were my instructions, simple, but good. I really want this to be special for them since he leaves so soon. I know that it will be immediatly following church, so decorations needed, but any advice and what I should do. Thanks.

Where will it be held? The church or someone's home? First, make phone calls to those he wants to be there with you all. Then, plan a lunch-finger sandwiches, fruits (sliced and araanged on a plate), Beverages. Pop, or punch, coffee. Desserts. As for decorations, streamers, balloons, is good. If it's just for y'all, a nice lunch out somewhere would be good too. Please ask him for more details of what he is wanting. Take care. And please, tell him thank you for serving our country.
