Wondering if any women had breast reduction surgery and how you felt about the results afterwards. Glad? Wish you didn't? Any way to lose the breast size without surgery? Would appreciate any feedback...

Many women in my family have had this procedure done, and all are very happy with the results. As with any surgery, there's some discomfort immediately afterwards, but this subsides and you're left with great results. It seems to me that by the time most women get to the point of surgery, they're had years and years of shoulder and back pain, and overall uncomfort. They're glad to move on from that, and don't have any regrets at all.

The only way to reduce your breast size is surgically or by losing weight. There's no specific excercises to do, just overall reduce your percentage of body fat.

Hope this helps, and good luck!

I'm having the surgery in April. There is a new technique called the "Le Jour" incision which is becoming more popular than the "anchor" cut.

You will probably get some people saying that you must be fat, blah blah blah and that the only natural way to reduce them is to lose weight, but this is not necessarily true. I lost 10 kilograms and my breasts grew 2 cups sizes (am now a 34G).

If you are a bit overweight then you could try exercising them to see if they reduce, but you would probably still want them lifted anyway even if you did lose weight.

**I have not spoken to anyone who regrets the surgery. I'm only 21 and having mine done, a lot of people who I know say that they wish they had theirs done earlier rather than later in life

Good luck with it.

My mom had the surgery and wasn't told that she could have complications due to her having been a smoker all her life and ended up having a severe infection in her left breast that almost caused her to have that side removed. If you are overweight then that is a big factor into your breast size but so does your genetic history. I don't know about most women but in my family I noticed that having both a mom with a large chest and a dad that was overweight enough that he had extra fat there and I ended up getting a big chest as well. My sister on the other hand had a different father and her biological father was toothpick skinny and she is flat chested so I think the father's body type also defines what our body will be like as the child. Hope I helped. Good luck on your decision!

Be careful if you do have a surgery and RESEARCH the doctor!

I had breast reduction and got a bad infection while the Dr., made me wait for four weeks then had to fix it I didn't sign the consent form but feel terrible about the outcome, and don't know what to do other than go to another Dr., for a second opinion. but don't know if I want to go through any more. am hoping he fixed the problem. but am NOT HAPPY WITH HOW IT LOOKS, Kath

unless you are overweight and you exercise there is really no way to lose the weight except for surgery.

I had my breast reduction done Feb 2006 and went from a 38J to a 38C and the only thing I regret is not doing it sooner!

I love it and recommend it for any large breasted women.

My back is loving me for it.
