Based on the classics:

Great Expectations
Pride and Prejudice
A Christmas Carol
Beowulf
Romeo and Juliet
The Call of the Wild
20,000 Leagues under the Sea

and some new ones:
Sphere
Jurassic Park
Davinci Code
Timeline
...

There are a ton. Careful though if you plan to use the movie's plot for your book report. A movie leaves a lot out or adapts it a certain way making it different and your teacher might be able to tell... unless part of the requirement for your book report is that a movie is available for the book too.

Come to think about it,.. most movies are adaptations of novels.
Try Cliff notes or whatever they're called now.

Harry Potter, Lord of the Rings, Jane Eyre, Romeo and Juliet (the version with Olivia Hussey. The ending in the version with Leonardo Di Caprio is really diffrent), Pride and Prejuice, 1984, Lord of the Flies, Hamlet. There is a huge variety. These are just the novels I remember were made into movies.
