I love the night. I don't think darkness is intrinsically evil, it has just come to be viewed that way. It is symbolic. The bad guys wear black & the heroes wear white. Darkness is associated with evil & light with goodness. Darkness represents the unknown. It may also be seen as a void, an abyss, Whereas light is seen as a symbol of God, the sun, hope and life. Light is associated with life & darkness with death. Many people are afraid of the dark...Crime rates go up when the sun goes down. Although as you say many beautiful things can happen in the dark, many terrible things happen in the dark as well because it makes it easier for people to hide their misdeeds. Even sleep has been described as a "little death."

Miso is on the right track I think.
When it's dark you can't see. We humans depend far more on our sight, in most cases, than on any other sense.
If we can't see what's 'out there' we don't know for sure what, or even if anything IS 'out there'. Therefore, darkness is the great fear, the ultimate fear. It is the UNKNOWN. We silly humans have a tendency even in these supposedly enlightened (note the use of that term!) times to still equate what we don't know or understand with evil.
If we can't understand it, perceive it, comprehend it, it must be bad, not good, evil.
That's probably why we pattern our individual representations of deity in some kind of human form. That way we reduce deity into something we can understand and thus see as good or even holy. Most deities have some kind of light associated with them as well. (halo's and such)
So when it's light we can see and understand and, thus not fear. Then there, simplistically, is no evil.
But when it is dark, we can't see, 'things', might be hiding in the shadows, out there in the deeper dark waiting to spring out and hurt us. We don't know what's there so it is bad... evil.
Just ask any little kid that's afraid of the dark.

Many cultures have associated evil with darkness since the beginning; there should be sth real in that belief. However, things that people don't understand can be experienced in plain daylight. Still, we fear darkness; maybe because our senses become confused -we cannot get the most of them. We learn and understand different things through the senses, mainly through the eyes.

Treasure;

Darkness, evil, Jinn, ghosts, Saitan, and there are many more with similar names, they are not a mental phenomenon.

In fact the presence of such words in our ditionaries, lead us to investigate such "negative creatures".

Every creature is born with some natural behaviours, look at the plant kingdom, how do they respire, and such animals having a unique nature of hybernate themsels, like polar bear, lizard etc.

Similarly these negative forces or creature have some routine too, those who are involved knows, so there sleeping time is in morning and awakening time is in night. There is a permanent darkness (evil creatures) in our bodies, more we disobey the natural laws of liveing more this darkness (evil) found satisfaction into our bodies and vice versa.

I am leaving the answer of your second para, hope you understand from the hints.

Because darkness IS evil. Never listen to those who try to lie about darkness being good/light being evil. Hell and Satan are darkness, while Heaven,God and Jesus are light...good people always walk around in the light of day while evil people such as rapists and drug dealers always walk around in the dark. Always remember that light is always good and dark is always evil.

Maybe its because the dark reminds us how lonely and harsh the world can be. In the day, everything is clear and easily understood. But at night we cannot make things out so clearly, therefore it forces us to use our imaginations and only wonder. The dark requires us to exactly think about what we see, and maybe that's what scares us the most; knowing what we cannot see.

It's human instinct to fear the unknown, and darkness is one of the most common forms of the unknown that humans encounter. It's why people think it's scary to walk through the woods at night: you don't know what's out there. Children are usually afraid of the dark to some degree, it's just natural. Our instinctive fear of certain animals has led them to be branded as evil at one time or another. (Wolves, snakes, sharks) It's naturally more comforting to us to be in the presence of light, where there is less mystery and uncertainty. Also, we humans have a habit of interpreting what we fear or don't understand as evil (like the witch trials).

Nope, human beings did understand approximately those issues. If we verify up the seven wonders of the classic international, we are able to basically ask your self on the intensity of their expertise. For a non secular individual, darkness is not any reason for concern. Psalms 139 9-13 9 If I take the wings of the morning, and stay interior the uttermost aspects of the sea; 10 Even there shall thy hand lead me, and thy spectacular hand shall carry me. 11 If I say, definitely the darkness shall disguise me; even the night would be gentle approximately me. 12 Yea, the darkness hideth no longer from thee; however the night shineth via fact the day: the darkness and the sunshine are the two alike to thee. 13 For thou hast possessed my reins: thou hast lined me in my mom's womb.
