Couldn't believe that I could actually understand what I was reading. The phenomenal power of the human mind, according to research at Cambridge University, it doesn't matter in what order the letters in a word are, the only important thing is that the first and last letter be in the right place.

The rest can be a total mess and you still read it without a problem. This is because the human mind does not read every letter, but the word as a whole. Amazing huh? Yeah and I always thought spelling was important!

Cool sutf Ddue!!!

Now I know why I can never find the misspelled words when I'm going over my manuscripts!
I always thought I was grabbing the whole word (or more) when I was reading.
Hit the spell check anyway.

I could read it. Even if the rest of the letters in a word are jumbled, keeping the first and the last letters in their own positions, the words are still recognizable.

Yes, but the research is actually old. But still fun to revisit.
