There are two ways that I am aware of. The first is to put you on Birth Control Pills. This will regulate your cycle with oral hormones. The second is to give you progesterone orally. This is a fairly standard treatment for women with irregular periods who are TTC.

Good luck!

Sometimes we can miss our period due to stress which can happen on occasion. When periods don't come for a few months especially in women who are not pregnant it can mean a possible hormone imbalance which is where meds such as the birth control pill can help to bring on the period. If this should happen pls have them check to see if you have a hormone imbalance.

i have gone as long as 3 1/2 months without one and then they just start, but beware itll be a doosy, they will give you pills to help you start, stress and excitement, depression are a few causes as why your period would be prolonged, though nothing to fret, as long a s women has 1 atleast every 3 months things are good. anything longer and your dr will have to help. hope i've been helpful.

ive never heard of that being neccesary... because usually thats pretty common, and it happens to girls all of the time because of hormone levels, or stress, or just because of natural selection. and usually no periods are sweet relief, haha. but i advise you to google search the procedure to get info.

I can't say for sure, but I think they will give you hormone pills to mimic your healthy cycle, so your body will think it's time to bleed, and you'll get your period.
