No, I don't believe he would. He would be too sidetracked by trying to do live up to the expectations of taking care of minority issues rather than taking care of the country as a whole. I see him as another Ray Nagin, except instead of screwing up a city with his immaturity and incompetence and then pulling the race card when everything goes to hell, he would be mismanaging the most powerful and prosperous nation on earth.

i am worried about if he will be sidetracked by focusing on the minorites issues, like the african-american issues rather than taking good care of the whole country. i am not saying he will certainly be sidetracked,but highly possible.

From what I know about him, he seems like a decent, honest person who wants the best for this country. I like that he literally worked his way into politics and is a hard working guy. I don't know much about his platform, though... I really ought to research into it.
