I have two rabbits that need someone to hold and pet them. I can't do everything. I have a dog, a cat, a chicken, a wife, and a home that is falling down around my ears. no money. What do I do with the rabbits. If I turn them loose in the yard, they will be prey, not acceptable.

List them on freecycle, some one will be thrilled to take them (check first to see if listing of animals is allowed).

Alternatively, contact your local county extension office and ask for the contact number of 4-H clubs that have rabbits as the subject, or do a web search for rabbit breeders in your area. With 4-H, some child will get them and learn from them, it would be an excellent fit.

Put up "For sale" signs in your local supermarket or gas station. Sell them for fifteen dollars apiece, with a nice description saying "Friendly, well mannered pet rabbits, will separate, or twenty five dollars for both." If you can, put a photo of their fuzzy little faces on the sign.

This way, you get rid of the rabbits, the rabbits get a good home, and you get a few extra dollars to spend on dog, cat, chicken, and wife food....
