does anyone know when the most recent pictures were taken?? i downloaded the latest version of google earth today.

also, how come you can never see people on google earth? i mean, i suppose it might be too far away but if you'd think you could see something...

ahaha i just saw people in paris, france.
but i never see them in the u.s.!!

Their images are photographs taken by satellites and aircraft sometime in the last three years. The images in Google Earth are updated on a rolling basis. Their pictures are NOT taken in real time, they just taken newer year-old-ish versions.

They say around three years. I saw our new tree in the front of our house so it was about a year and a half for my neighborhood. I'm sure that it's different for different areas. Well, you know they have to take pictures during sunny and clear days too, and in my neighborhood (Portland, Oregon area) it's not clear and sunny all that much. :-D

like a million years ago when dinos roamed...jk but seriously. I read that they take 'em like every 10 years. not just google. other ones have "recent" ones from 1990! (PS. I know. I'd like to see me!!) but guess i won't
