It definitely isn't Britney Spears anymore,she hasn't put out in almost 4 years. I think it's Kelly Clarkson. I wouldn't say Christina Aguilera because she really doesn't do pop music. Who do you think it is?

I don't think there is one single pop princess at the moment...I think most of them have learned from the recent exploits of Britney, Paris and even Jessica, to lay low and just try and live their lives as normal as possible...I think Carrie Underwood and Kelly Clarkson and even Gwen Stefani (even though she is older) are great! Christina Aguilera has a fantastic voice, but for some reason she has never received the recognition she deserves for her talent....

Kelly Clarkson, even though she is a more pop/rock princess especially with her new album coming out. Also agreeing with Christina Aguilera answer too. But Kelly more. :)

Brieney puts out all the time. In fact she puts out on a daily basis. From the pictures of her I have seen more men ride that thing then you would care to know about.
Christina Aguilera well her singing sounds like a cat slowly being disenboweled.
Kelly Clarkson is not much better. She is not much to look at either.

She might. I think that she pretty much defined the pop sound of the last ten years, and now she has a new album out. I'm lukewarm about "Womanizer" (I know it reached number 1 on Billboard), but I'm sure the other singles/songs will to a certain extent make up for that. She is kinda like the Michael Jackson of the 2000s, great songs, troubled private life, and a rebounce.

Seeing as I actually like Kelly Clarkson, I find it offensive to mention her in the same paragraph as the likes of Britney and Christina. Kelly is WAY better than either of them, especially vapid, insipid Britney!
