okayy so i ahve a problem umm i am in highschool i used to go to a school like 45 minutes away and i am still friends with everyone. i kinda guess you could say i was popular or in with the in croud but there is a rumor going around that i am a lesbian and i am not i kinda am with a guy from that school too and it just really bugs me so how can i stop the rumor? please help me.

lol. ok well i have touched a girl. like poking her to get her annoyed but ya not in a wrong way. Any ways dont let it bother you. Just think about it this way, there are advantages and disadvantages about having rumors about yourself:
advantage:
1. your known and know one will do any thing bad to you depending on the rumor
2. the people are going to back off because its not only affecting you but its affecting your friends too so its another reason for jumping them
3. if you hate that person you can start crying *pretend* and say he/she was making fun of you etc.

You need to just let it go. I'm sure everyone has had some kind of rumor spread around about them. Although everyone reacts differently. If you let the person know that the rumor bothers you new ones will just pop up, and your problem will continue. Just let it go and it'll disappear. If they think that it doesn't bother you then there's no joy in it for them and they'll find someone else to mess with...it's all mind games...

I was in the same predicament when i was growing up and what i did to stop it was made a big joke out of it and said ya are you jealous do you want to go out and they stopped and it never came up again . If they know you are upset about it they will continue
