Laryngeal prominence:

The human larynx rests in a frame of cartilage bound by ligaments and muscles. At the front is the thyroid cartilage, creating the lump at the front of the neck, known as the laryngeal prominence or more commonly as the Adam's apple.\

Epiglottis is not the part you can see at the back of your mouth. That is Uvula:
The human larynx rests in a frame of cartilage bound by ligaments and muscles. At the front is the thyroid cartilage, creating the lump at the front of the neck, known as the laryngeal prominence or more commonly as the Adam's apple.

Epiglottis is a cartridge that covers the glottis, that is the opening between the vocal cords.

Epiglottis is not visible.

When the larynx grows larger during puberty, it sticks out at the front of the throat. This is what's called an Adam's apple. Everyone's larynx grows during puberty, but a girl's larynx doesn't grow as much as a boy's does. That's why boys have Adam's apples. Most girls don't have Adam's apples, but some do. It's no big deal either way.

The adam's apple is the thyroid cartilage of the larynx. The thing you see in the back of your mouth is a uvula. The epiglottis is what keeps food and drink from entering your larynx or airway.

The correct answer would be thyroid cartilage because laryngeal prominence and Adam's apple are only generic names used for enlarged larynx while thyroid cartilage would be universal to all.
